NADA Election 2021: Dhruba Thapa Panel Announced; Appeals Everyone To Vote For Change

Mr Dhruba Thapa, one of the veterans of the Nepalese automobile industry with more than 21 years of experience, has officially announced his candidacy for the President position during the upcoming election of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA). In an event held in the capital, Thapa announced his panel of members who will be contesting for the various posts in the upcoming elections.In the program, Dhruba Thapa, introduced the candidates of the members of his team. Speaking on the occasion, Kapil Shiwakoti, a current member of NADA and a candidate from the Thapa panel, said that Dhruba Thapa is capable enough to work on the problems of the entire Nepalese automobile community. Welcoming all the participants at the event, Thapa made public the commitment of his team and highlighted the professionalism of the members of his team.For the first time in NADA's history, Thapa has announced a women candidate in his panel, Ms Yamuna Shrestha. Akash Golchha, Nirakar Shrestha, Deepak Agrawal, Kapil Shiwakoti and Shubhashish Thapaliya of the current working committee of NADA are on the panel of Dhruv Thapa. His panel of members include Amarjyoti Ranjit, B.N. Pathak, Dipendra Kumar Mishra, Narayan P. Paudel (Rajan), Navaraj Bhusal, Pradeepman Pradhan, Prakash Sigdel, Riddi Karki, Sagun B.S. Kansakar, and Sanjay Kumar Khetan. This is the first time in the history of NADA that such an inclusive panel has been formed, said Thapa.Speaking on the occasion, Thapa said, "We have interacted with friends from all over the state." We are committed to addressing the issues raised in the discussions". The commitments of the Thapa panel are to empower the state-level structure, to take initiative to create a business-friendly environment, to form an expert team to strengthen NADA and to have direct and effective discussions with the government.Furthermore, he announced initiatives to construct NADA's own building as well as commitment on policy planning, secretariat reform work, NADA Auto Show procedure and patent registration, a central data hub, and expanding the organization's social responsibility.The 45th Annual General Meeting and Election of NADA Automobiles' Association of Nepal which will be held on December 8-9, 2021 in Kathmandu will see Dhruba Thapa and Karan Chaudhary competing against each other for the post of NADA's President.Also Read:NADA Election 2021: Karan Chaudhary Announces His Panel; To Bring Together The Entire Auto Sector
